This is such a common story! I think it's a case of those individuals not knowing what they want, and that makes them very fickle

I was always fine with things not being serious, but every guy I casually dated in my 20's quickly showed interest in wanting more and got very romantic etc but then dumped me after a few weeks/months citing that it was getting too serious, when they instigated all of it themselves!
